Looking 4 Tips for Nevada Christmas Truck Camper trip?

I had a much further plan but seems time is the issue, so being we don't have as much time as I hope this year I'm thinking about just going to Nevada? Yet being we will have our dog, cuts out Vega...

What failed on your trans/motor?


5 gear in the Manual trans started making a loud rattling sound & my Trans shop guy tells me its likely the 5th gear has loosened on its shaft ( A common problem he says & they sell a Lock kit )

I can still drive it around if need be just did not wanna trash the trans any more, Had to tow it home, a 205 mile tow. :(
