Looking 4 Tips for Nevada Christmas Truck Camper trip?

I had a much further plan but seems time is the issue, so being we don't have as much time as I hope this year I'm thinking about just going to Nevada? Yet being we will have our dog, cuts out Vega...

I personally had no interest in Las Vegas when I mentioned Nevada.
I've been there enough & have considered Laughlin, but I was more interested in campgrounds at worthwhile places to see & camp.

Before my truck broke down, I loved how fog friendly Calico is, they let you take the dog into every attraction, except the restaurant.
