Whatever you choose, ponder how it will sound if you yell it.
True story: We renamed Jake the rescued Cattle Dog "Jack" because the neighbor had a dog named Jake.
I also use the word "OFF" to mean "stop jumping on that" rather than confuse the meaning of the word "down", which for my dogs means lie down.
So sure enough - we went through months of happy ownership....until a friend from Church stopped by and Jack jumped up on him in greeting and yes, I yelled "Jack, Off!" Fortunately, he was a very good friend and still giggles about it 15 years later..... to my chagrin....
