Good thing you are going to the vet. It could be a lot of things from a chemical imbalance to an organ malfunction. Blood tests and xrays can help determine the cause. Our Champ had seizures due to liver failure. Sometimes a tumor is the cause. I'm hoping for the best for all of you, Miss Inga especially, and will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep up updated.
