How's Inga doing, have any more seizures?
Not yet, thank goodness. :)
In my brief and recent research into grand mal seizures, I found that she may never have another one, or she may have them on a regular basis, requiring meds. There's just no telling yet.
One thing's for sure, I'm not getting a lot of sleep at night. I am a light sleeper anyway, and every sound I hear from her I think might be the start of another seizure. :p
Walter, we had a retriever/lab, her name was Kathy and over the years she had maybe five or six seizures, then when she was around 13 she had a grand mal seizure and I was sure we were going to lose her, we didn't and she never had another one...she died two weeks shy of her 17th birthday never having to go on any medication.
I hope Inga does the same...she must be lonesome with Gretchen gone, I know my dogs take a bit to adjust to life when they lose one of their pack, much like us humans.
