Our little 10-yr-old Miss Petunia the Chi had surgery at the vet's to remove some of her teeth due to tartar & infection, plus a growth off her front leg (waiting on pathology report.
A couple of hours ago she came home and is snug and warm, she ate half a jar of Beechnut chicken and gravy baby food, and has had her pain meds, plus antibiotics, so is sleepy now. She only has 4 teeth left now - her canines on bottom plus two front teeth on top.
Petunia had the growth removed today when she went in for teeth cleaning, etc. She came home with a cone due to having to keep her from chewing at the 2 stitches on her front leg when she is either sleeping or left alone.
What we do for our little pet dogs.
