Mole on dog's front leg ... light colored, questions ?

Today we noticed a growth, like a mole on Petunia's front leg - it is small like the size of a small q-tip .. will have it checked by a vet shortly, but was wondering in the meantime if anyone else ha...

They make soft collars that may be more comfortable....saw that at Petco
