well it looks like we are finally going to Ecuador....tickets booked for Nov 5th...so much paperwork to do, its over whelming...now trying to sell off the furniture and get Wayne to clean out his garage and sell off his stuff...the wees have had all their shots and get the obligatory worming the end of the month..Izzy has an appt with the ophthalmologist next week and then goes back to the Uni of Guelph for her cardiac dopplers and pacemaker checkup with her cardiologist...its been so long in coming , I can hardly believe it...but looking forward to being out of the cold and snow....Kathleen

Ecuador, how cool!We're in the process of leaving the cold planning on landing in Florida. We're going to live in the RV until we find "Home", I keep on subtly mentioning Belize. Anyway, why Ecuador? And how do you go about a move like that? I am so excited about Florida, I can't yet imagine living out of the States but you sure got me thinking!Oh ya, we don't know each other but I've followed you and the wees for some time. Beautiful pups with a loving family always makes me feel at home.Good luck with the move and we'll keep sending prayers for the wees!

Yahoo news just had an article not more than a week or so back about places to retire or move overseas.Ecuador was mentioned as one of the top spots primarily due to good health care, weather, and a large English speaking expatriate community already living there. What an adventure for you folks!Best of luck. So many things I would just love to travel through South America and see. Hope you get the opportunities to do so as your proximity is certainly going to be as in the neighborhood now.ON EDIT: SHOOT! I actually found the article I mentioned. Congrats! You'll be getting out of Dodge just in time...I hear you about being near the water, it does sooth the soul, especially those sunsets!

I hope the Chi's love it too, I'm sure they will adjust rapidly since they'll be with Mom & Dad.

I retired in May...big change after working for 35 years...finding myself wandering about the house sometimes and looking for something to do LOL At least the move is creating something for me to do !
