Pops, goats do a better job at grazing the woody stems of plants than sheep. They both will browse the leaves and the grass. Flocks (sheep and/or goats) are being use to graze under power lines, clear invasive plant species in areas that can't be mowed, and down south to clear kudzu out of areas. There are flocks for hire for prescribed or targeted grazing.
