Hey Pops how's the boy doing? I see you were taking him back to the Vet today. I hope everything is going better for him.
It's probably not the same thing but I have to go to the bathroom more times than I can count in a day, the doc said something about age. I think it's time to shop for a new doc. :h
Thanks for asking Doug. The boys urinalysis culture came back negative. We took out the vitamin C for his daily intake, as we started him on
Nutramax Proviable-DC.
He's been on the Proviable for 4 days now, and his poop has firmed up some. Not alot, but at lest there is some form to it in lieu of looking like a cow patty.
He's peeing has tapered off some, but he still's periodically drinking, and peeing quite a bit.
We've decided to give it a week, if he's still peeing at the same rate. We'll step up testing / monitoring his liver enzymes then, in lieu of waiting, as mentioned, in December / three months from starting the Fluconazole / anti-fungal medicine.
We're really in a Catch 22 type of situation.
However, he seems to be getting back to his ole self again, feeling much better, waning to walk the property with me.
We know he's still off though, because this was the FIRST time he didn't fuss about getting his nails clipped.
