Thanks Everyone. They are really great. Macy will only stay sitting with you for a short time, she gets hot. Now Sandi, she will sit in my lap all day as long as it's cool outside. When inside Sandi will stay and sleep as long as you do not move much.
The DW and I have to race into the bedroom to make sure that we get "Our" Spot, or a pup will just have to move.
Sandi has always got on my chest and pulled on my beard when she has to go outside. She did this the very first night that she slept with us. She has done this several times in the last year or so. So I get up, put my slippers on and turn to see her sound asleep on my spot in bed. The little so and so just wanted my spot.
I suffer from major back pain and if I sleep too long I can barely get out of bed. On the last couple of times that she has done her little dance on my chest, my back was bad enough to stop me from laying back down. This has made me wonder if she somehow senses my discomfort and wakes me. You never know but I just think she likes the warm spot.
