I took photos of one other run during the final round. This team had a ewe that was very determend to leave, especially when they got to the pen. The young dog was very patient with this ewe. At one point the ewe charged the dog and I managed to capture the event.
A dog is allowed to defend itself from charging ewes and is allowed to continue as long as the dog only grabs the nose and then lets go. If a dog hangs on or grabs another part of the sheep it will be DQed. Later in this run, the young dog lost its patience and grabbed this ewe on the side earing a DQ.
