I'm hoping that this little guy will make a great camping buddy!Sonny the Mini-DachshundHe's coming home to us on Friday evening. :)He's about 8 months old.I'll be looking into exercise pens - I'm guessing that would work the best for him while camping.I'm thinking this little guy will be a little easier to take along than my 70lb moose of a Springer, who we loss a couple years ago, was. (sure miss him though :( )

Yes I miss my guys too but what a difference RV'ing with a small dog is, ahhh.I use ex-pens with a top on them tucked under my awning. The dogs are out of the sun and secure from other dogs and they enjoy it big time.
