At the risk of sounding cynical - I've always pondered if there's too much money to be made TREATING cancer in humans, rather than curing it?
On the other hand, when it comes to our pets - we DEMAND cures....LOL! So if a secondary benefit is that we have to go to our Vets for our cancer cures, so be it! Maybe instead of supporting the various colored ribbons (the Pink Machine in particular) for human cancer "cures" - we should start a "Paws Against Cancer" program and truly make some headway?
