IF he did....that had to be one tough bird to eat. He was quite old when he came up missing.

Two white ducks have adopted my next door neighbor. They visit her, swim with her, and pester her for food. We live on a lake so that's not unusual. But this Spring, a Canadian Goose adopted the ducks and follows them everywhere. Aside from the "duck, duck, GOOSE" jokes.... My neighbors don't want the goose in the yard, so the ducks actually hide from the goose so they can hang with their human friends....LOL!!!

After having ducks it is VERY clear where we get the term "fouling the water".

We were at a campground in northwest IL and a guy there had a pet goose he'd raised. He was hoping it would fly off in the fall.

That goose terrorized us and the dogs every time we walked by.

I bet it was cute to watch, the closest I can come to that was a man walking his goat, he had a small FW and had a little fence for it.

I was just enjoying the unusualness of it. No waterproof camera thus no pics. I didn't confer myself with the legality/laws/testing/whatever. The Rangers patrol frequently & I will leave it up to them to handle problems.

I would check with the states you'll be entering. In those states where I have checked, exotic birds do not fall under the poultry regs.
