One year anniversary

well its one year since we sold everything and moved to Ecuador...still missing our little RV...but other than that, still loving our new country...many more positive aspects than negative ones...although a good OutBack steak dinner or a cup of Tim Hortons coffee would not be turned down LOL. The wees are doing fine...Izzy unfortunately has went into renal failure but is doing well with a renal diet..her blood pressure, although still elevated, has improved with the renal food...today Izzy had a dental done, without anesthesia as she cannot have any with her pacemaker...Wayne assisted the vet as he wanted her as calm as could be under the circumstances...Dr Franklin was able to do a good amount of scaling..but of course not under the gum line...she was a real trooper...they were also booked for parvo inj but the vet decided to give it a few weeks..neither of the wees minded LOL. Weather remains almost perfect for us...hard to tell what day or month it is as there is no seasonal change to speak of...the rainy season was an almost no show this year..but usually is less than 100 mils so really not a big deal...we are looking forward to what the next year brings...Kathleen and The wees

Izzy received a gift from a lady in Kentucky...a helmet and doogles for when she bike riding LOL
  • Great photos Kathleen! Sorry to hear about Izzy, but she looks great in her biker get up!

    Bet it's a great place to live, but I couldn't live there. I can't read the signs. .... :B

  • Thanks for the update - love the Doggles Izzy's wearing on the bicycle - too cute!! Glad you're enjoying your new country, and I hope this feeling continues.
  • What an adventure!

You two are just truly 'heaven sent' pet owners. Your wee ones are both VERY lucky dogs! :C

Have a blessed day and keep us updated on your travels.
  • Glad things are going well for you in Ecuador--sound like a great adventure!

Sorry to hear about the renal failure in Izzy--hope she continues to hang in there. They are both such cuties!
  • I was just thinking about you today! Thanks for posting the update.
  • I so enjoy your posts! You can laugh at the snow reports!!
  • Glad your enjoying living there Nabi. Izzy looks like a real hard core biker in that get up. :) I hope Izzy continues to do well on her renal diet. Give the wees a hug from MO..
