I am so very sorry to hear this. Sometimes we don't realize how involved our furry friends are in our day to day lives -- when they are no longer there, there are so many things that you go to do automatically -- and it's a jolt ,,
...every time you return home and they aren't where they greeted you each time..
...every time you get up and go to let the dogs out... before you realize it's not necessary to open the door... every time you start to do what you did routinely like the jelly beans, and waiting for that last bite of whatever you had to eat....
Hopefully the pain will ease, and you can remember all the good times with smiles. They sure do enrich our lives.
