Good news. Wife has agreed to get another Doxie. It will be a few months. Son is going to Europe for business meetings in earlt October. DIL will fly over 9-10 days later and they will tour Europe. We will have the 2 grandchildren-age 4 and 2-for about 10 days. She said she is not ready at this moment because she didn't want to have a puppy with the 2 kids here.
I am ready now!!!We go out with a number of couples on Wednesday evenings. When we left the restaurant tears flowed and wife did not want to go home because Ouiser was not there. Things are not right at home. Too quite and we have no friend to talk to. We have talked and agreed that only a red Dachshund puppy will do.
It still feels so wrong to have buried her in the ground. There is such an emptiness in the pit of my stomach and the heart still aches.
