That's wonderful news! And perfect timing as it gives you room to mourn the loss of a very dear friend and at the same time, look forward to happier days. You'll have time to pick a name, wash up Ouiser's favorite toys and belongings and get them ready for the new puppy. Those twinges of loss will still hit, sometimes catching you off guard so painfully, but it's the chance we take when we choose to love a mortal. I forget who said that, but it's so true. Lucky you, to be able to start the process all over again.
