Eycom, my birds aren't quite as bad as the one you had the misfortune of camping next to. By nature, birds are noisy early in the morning and late in the afternoon (calling their flock together), and that can be managed by covering their cage. I managed to keep a macaw and a cockatoo in a (ABOLUTELY NO PETS!) motel room in Sedalia Missouri for almost 2 weeks before they realized they were there...on the last day of our stay, thank goodness! Looks like we may have to either leave the birds at home or stay at private CGs...or boondock waaaay away from other campers!
