I cut a 10 mg in half for our Chihuahua. She has allergy problems.
It's not a problem, I use the regular tablets, not the chewable type.
I don't think it makes a difference which type you use.
She swallows them without a problem. Maybe you could wrap it in cheese or his/her favorite treat?
