Sorry for your loss of Polly, I know it's very difficult.
It's up to the individual CG but, I'm sure if you mention an animal, the pet fee will be charged.
Maybe you could tell the CG operator Gnocchi is a trained attack cat and part of your security system, not a pet? :)
