Pet Emergency Help Please

We are traveling from So. CA to WA State in our Class A as a relocation with our current overnight at Santa Nella, CA. We hit the road early Friday morning to cont on 5N. But, we have an urgent request and referral. Our 13 yr Yorkie was diagnosed before we left (we sold the home in So. CA and this happened the very day we were turning keys over to the new owners) CHF (congestive heart failure) and enlarged liver. WE have our Golden and Chihuahua with us as well as two felines. Everyone doing excellent, but our Mandie. Vet gave her meds for blood pressure and diaretic, but she has no appetite for 5 days,drinks and vomits and now can not stand on her own. WE are looking for an Advanced Critical Care Unit for pets. I had one of my own in Tustin, CA. but we are very unfamiliar with the direction we are going and if anyone had such an urgency and could direct us to a Vet we would be grateful. We stayed 2 nights in Santa Nella due to her declining health. WE are off the 152 and 5 interstate.
We didnt' tow. So no car. If anyone can help out we would be grateful. My car is in shipment process once we get to WA state. I fear our Mandie is not going to even make the trip tomorrow to Sacramento.

    I was trying to think of a polite way earlier to say the same thing MitchF150 said as we lost a dog to congestive heart failure. The inability to walk was one of his symptoms in his last couple of days and his legs also felt cold from lack of blood circulation - then he was blue around the mouth/tongue area from lack of oxygen. It started suddenly when the end came - he was doing okay one day and the next day symptoms started and got progressively worse over the next 24 hours. We had to let him go, for his sake. It may be time.

    If you're still in the area, the Los Banos vet was a life-saver when we had an emergency with our 12 year old lab a few years back.

    It is our understanding that you can call the GoodSam Rod Service (if you have it) and they will assist to find a pet care where you are at the time?

    I doubt very much there is a medical miracle that can save your Mandie at this point in her life so why let her suffer and endure this pain and suffering longer than necessary??

    I know how hard it is to let a beloved family member go, both furry and flesh, as I've experienced both first hand, while holding their paw/hand and it's very hard on us of course, but when it finally ends, the pain and suffering of the loved one is gone and they are finally at peace...

    I know this sounds very cruel and heartless from a complete stranger on the damn internet... But, I beg you to consider the quality of life for your loved one at this time...

    For me, it's knowing that they are no longer in pain that lets me grieve for them in a better light and remember all the great times we had together when times were good and not witnessing them suffer any longer..

    My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

    She may be suffering a lot from the stress of traveling. Keep her as comfortable as possible and you might have to make shorter trip days. I know you'd like to get settled asap, but often pets stress out with long days in the RV. We will keep her in our prayers tonight. Lots of good caring vets in that area.....Dennis

    Google animal hospital for the area you are at. There should be a parking lot somewhere in the area where you will fit to park even if not at the actual animal hospital. She needs to be seen ASAP. Please assist her and do not try to make her walk. At this point it may be very painful for her.
