Pet Friendly Fort Leonard Wood?

Hey Campers, have any of you been to the Fort Leonard Wood MO museums? I hear they're pretty good and located in the historic part of the Fort. Is it ok to walk dogs outdoors in the museum area?

I checked the Fort website and couldn't find the Public Info officer to ask.

    Not sure about Leonard Wood exactly but most Army posts want you to stay off of the grass. Some have gone to xeriscape and want you to stay off of the rocks :) Leash and clean up as in any other community.

    Take a look at this site. If you are retired military (Active Duty or Reserve) this is a site that lists all of the military campgrounds. There are reviews of all of them there also. Most are very nice and much cheaper than the local places.
