I know KOA is very pet friendly but I don't believe that they have one in the Fort Myers area.
We haven't had any problems with three dogs but since your looking for a place for temporary residence, and you may or may not have the fourth dog, just call, inform them very nicely what your situation is...you may find them to be very accommodating.
You didn't say when you would be going down, timing may be key as your heading into high season now and it may be more difficult to find a spot for more than a few days.
