I don't know of any campground that does not require pets to be leashed. Why then, do people NOT leash their dogs? If you can control your dog with one word, no problem, but I'm not talking about thos...

That's truly one of the saddest dog videos I've ever seen. The dogs' behavior screams abuse. There is no tail wagging, very little looking around. Tails are dropped the entire time. They've mostly completely shut down. And what happens around the 4:20 mark is truly heartbreaking. Lady passing by says "hi" in a sing songy, happy voice and dog to the man's left looks up at her and then in a split second looks at the man and cringes. My guess is at that millisecond the poor dog anticipated a rather harsh physical correction for having looked at the lady.
I'd rather take my chances with totally untrained off leash dogs than see that kind of Stepford behavior. JMHO.
Certainly could be true, I don't know anything about his training methods, not saying that's how all dogs should be by any means.
