Pet peeve

Thanks for all your responses. Knowing that most any situation involving strange dogs is unpredictable, I don't understand people who allow their dogs to charge toward other dogs. Even if they are friendly, there is the potential for danger if the dogs don't like each other, etc. I try to protect my dogs by keeping them leashed. They aren't the least bit interested in other dogs. They don't bark at them, don't really even pay attention to them. But if one runs up and gets in their face, it's probably not going to end pretty. Dog owners need to be responsible.

And I did take offense to the remarks she made about my dogs being unfriendly and not wanting to play. That's when DH told her she needed to leash her dogs.
