Pig in rv

Saw a travelling pig show at the county Fair today and got thinking. Does anyone ever with a pig as a pet? What do you think the campground would say? No intention personally, just a thought.
  • Yes there was a couple with a class A. That had a big pig. They even had a ramp so it could go in and out of the MH. This was in Texas at the Buckhorn Lake RV resort.
  • We had a pot-bellied pig for almost 10 years. They are great pets. Very clean, very smart and loving animals.

Took ours RVing. Loved to walk around the campgrounds on a leash. Often got treats (veggies or fruit) from other campers, especially the young ones. :) Won first place once in a July 4th pet parade. Boy, she loved that watermelon they gave her.

Chelsea (the pig) often got her picture taken and/or video taped. People would remember her name and then say "and you were who again." :)

This took place mainly in Oregon and Washington.
  • Not the same pig but our neighbors in Casa Grande have a pet pot belly pig.
Rules of resort limit to 2 domesticated animals (think about it)
  • I saw one at the KOA at Kent Washington in 2013 and 2014 = pig had his own ramp to get in and out of the motor home
  • I saw one in a baby carriage in Cabo, MX two or three years ago.

At the Alaska State Fair, they quiet often have pig races on an oval track. They "entice" them Oreo cookies.

  • It has been at least 10 years ago that I saw a couple with a pot belly pig, (I should say HOG) in the RV park that we were staying in. This was in Casa Grande, AZ. They had a large pin for it much like that you would have for a dog. They would walk it around the CG. Sure excited the dogs.
