A heart breaking update:
I spoke with the vet on Wed and have found out the our darling has metastatic carcinoma. They don't think it's lymphoma, but they don't know where it originated.
The vet says we would have to take him to U of MN for a series of CT scans.
We don't know what to do. He's 13 and our finances are a bit tight. We love him dearly and don't want him to suffer.
He's on Prevacox for pain and the vet says he can take it long term for a fairly normal quality of life. But, how long is long term? We don't even know what type he has.
I need to of your insight. I guess I wasn't prepared to hear this news. For over a year I have been saying something wasn't right. I know my boy.
