A CT is just going to show you how extensive the cancer is and if there is any treatment that might extend life and/or improve quality. In all probability, this is a terminal condition and your best option regardless of money is to provide pain relief and supportive care.
That being said, I diagnosed a bone cancer in the jaw of my niece's dog, he went through surgery and chemo and did well for many years before another unrelated problem took is life.
