I was going to say that with Jack, the Cattle Dog - giving him a pill is a problem (painful problem - he fights and bites). So I bought Milk Thistle capsules, and open a capsule and sprinkle it over his yogurt-and-Joint Strong morning snack. He thinks it's delicious.
Yes, for the past 4 months or so. The following is his daily meds;
once per day: SAM-e 400mg pill
once per day: Milk Thistle 240mg capsule
once per day: Hydroxyzine 50mg tablet
Twice a day: Metoclopramide 10mg tablet
All shoved down his throat. Easy-peasy!
Unlike his late sister Harlee who fought tooth and nail when she had to take her meds. She absolutely hated taking her pill/s, but the kid takes them quite well.
However, having his nails clipped, that's a whole nuther subject. I give him a full body lock (as in, he can't move, AT ALL...:B), while his nails are clipped. ... LOL
If, or I should say, when we go on our next project. I'm gonna buy one of them battery powered nail dremel thing-ah-mah-jigs.
