We're in "those extra months" with Mr. Higgins (cat) and Pistol Pete (dog). I don't mind a bit the extra steps to make sure both still have quality. I am watching carefully for the time that will come... and I hate that time... when the quantity is there but the quality is missing. It's rough to make that decision and even tougher to "follow thru" but it's part of the commitment we make when we adopt them.
