I'm just going off my own instincts. When I've had more than one vaccine, myself, one in one arm and one in the other, I've had more reactions than with just the single. Plus this is a little dog. This new vet doesn't push things. Our 18 year old cat hasn't had any vaccine since she was 8 or 9 yrs old. She doesn't go outdoors and doesn't do flea drops, none of it. She seems remarkably healthy to me, except for a bit of kitty dementia. We feel like the new vet over-treated our last two dogs in their final illness and gave us false hope. The old vet was a realist, bless his heart that finally gave out on him. But back to vaccines....I have to find that vaccine list/schedule that the AAVA (?) puts out with shots recommendations. That would probably be helpful.
