Yes! Some of you have described that insistent, loud conversation from the cat that sounds like: "Something's wrong but I don't know what!" Heck, I sometimes feel like that myself. :W I'm glad to hear it's pretty typical for the age. We are not seeing any loss of control, just some arthritis when she jumps, but not bad. Inside cats really have it made.
