Reintroducing Jerky Treats

Here is a link to a story about some Jerky Treats being reintroduced.

It appears that these companies have tried to address the problem, but nobody KNOWS what caused the problems in the first place.

Single source China suppliers, only American source for some...

I think I'd do my own jerky if I used them, at least until someone had a viable theory.

We did away with the store bought treats.
The old hound gets a carrot and loves them.

There are a whole bunch of recipes on the net, they all basically involve dehydrating whatever you are turning into jerky. There are special food dehydrators, but a low (very low) oven works too.

I am with you, Doug. Stick with home made...much safer for snacks.
