REMEMBERING ROSIE
"ROSIE SCENARIO" Aug 22, 2003 – May 7, 2014
The house feels so empty now.
Nobody is everywhere all at once, singing and dancing and going through her repertoire of Sit-Stay-Down-Settle-Roll-Over in rapid succession.
No one is sitting at my feet each time I open the refrigerator door.
There is no more little dog who believes herself to be the tiniest, purebred blue ribbon winner in spite of evidence to the contrary.
Nobody comes running at hearing the words, “Want me to make you look pretty?”
No pup sits beside me enjoying TV and then after a bit, looks at her watch and thinks, “Okay, that’s long enough!” and jumps down.
An Independent little thing, she was, until the wind whistled or thunder boomed. Thank heavens for Rescue Remedy!
Rosie’s gone to be with her sister, Poquita. I won’t say rest In peace, Rosie, because I know there is little chance of that.
Rosie is singing and dancing and entertaining the troops at Rainbow Bridge. God bless her happy little heart that only lasted ten short
years. We will miss her forever.
