Rv'ing with large dog. Leave alone in RV?
We've made a few trips so far that only required to leave the RV for about an hour (with A/C on). What about sightseeing at locations 15-30 minutes from your campground though? I don't like the idea...

I leave the Collie's in the trailer when I go somewhere they cannot go. I leave the TV or radio on with the A/C and a fan. They take a nap while I'm gone. I unusually try to take them on a long walk before I go or when I get back. If the weather is nice they go with me in the truck. I have never used a crate, takes up to much room and I have never owned one. Bud would like a crate, he likes small secure areas. The other two like to stretch out.
