Rv'ing with large dog. Leave alone in RV?
We've made a few trips so far that only required to leave the RV for about an hour (with A/C on). What about sightseeing at locations 15-30 minutes from your campground though? I don't like the idea...

We have 3 Chihuahuas and always take them, they love to go camping. When we leave the area for some reason, we put them in the camper and leave either a radio or TV on and the AC going (summer) heater (winter). This keeps them quiet.
