There are coyote issues everywhere. I live in a suburban neighborhood with a lot of nature left and we have a pack that lives on the river near us. They are frequently in our yard but knock-on-wood we haven't had any dog/coyote encounters. Ours are actually most likely coy-wolves, a cross between coyotes and wolves (all documented). They are stealthy, can be aggressive and are BIG, up to double the size of a regular coyote.
