From what we have read, the Great Pyrenees is the least aggressive to people. They have more coat that our Maremma and he ends up with a highly matted coat by spring that must be cut off. Also, they have been popular as pets much longer than the other LGDs and therefore more likely to have been bred without regards to livestock protection ability. While you can find working bred Pyrenees, there still is an impact on the working gene pool by having most of the gene pool not bred for working ability.
Too friendly and too much coat are issues for us. The more people friendly the LGD, the more likely the dog is to leave the sheep to be with people (no longer on duty).
