Out here in Malibu, we have a Mountain Lion #P45 (they are tagged with GPS as newborn kittens by Wildlife authorities) who has been killing off someone's Alpaca herd just for sport, he doesn't eat them. The word went out that P45's days were numbered for that reason, but of course the objection went out and so far, it has not happened. You can't relocate these big cats because they are very territorial and he'd probably be killed by another male, anyway. I was thinking the Alpaca owner needs to get herself one of those dogs. I wonder if it could dispatch a mountain lion? (called a cougar in some other states.)
