Scientists discover dogs' preferred bathroom position

Oh my goodness~! Totally true for my silly Bichon. He always points north or south for #2, although he will point E sometimes for #1. This is hilarious!

Depends upon direction MH is facing. Our MH toilet seat does not rotate so she must use it as it sits, but has never complained. She does prefer the seat down and howls if it has been left up. Had to raise paper holder so she could reach it without getting down. Also prefers softer papers such as Charmin because they do not dissolve as quickly in her mouth, but does use extra water to prevent pyramid. She is only a 10lb TerriPOO and thus being only half POO, only contributes 1/2 as much POO as other breeds.:R

Not hard to tell we are all on hold till the season returns.:B

I wonder how this fascinating study dovetails with the same team's previous work on Magnetic alignment in carp. (No word on what body function they were performing when studied, as if anyone could tell.)
