I'd just watch her. If you try to force her to throw up, you may cause a problem instead of preventing one.

Me, I would do nothing. JMHO We had a Jack Russel Terrier and I swear it was mean enough to take down a Water Buffalo and eat it in its entirety. Without any indigestion.

Was the chicken uncooked? If so, she's not likely to have any problem from that. Cooked is riskier, as cooked bones are more brittle. How much of the bag did she eat?

I agree with just watching her. If she starts showing any sort of intestinal upset (vomiting, diarrhea, constipation) or just seems uncomfortable or restless then you'll want to take her to the vet right away. But she'll probably be just fine.

My two Jacks make a feast of the trimmed horse hoofs after the farrier leaves. They have been eating them for years with no problem.

Since you're fretting over it, I would at least call a vets office. Peace of mind is better than sitting around worrying about it. Other animals, think foxes, eat chicken all the time without issues...I would make the phone call....Dennis

Bones become brittle when cooked..can splitter. Call vet for info.

Raw.......no big deal. Canines have been eating birds for centuries

My Rat Terrier once consumed all the leftovers from a KFC three-piece meal: bones, styrofoam mashed potato container, and all. Nothin' left but the box, some paper, and the plastic spork.

No ill effects for her unless she counts the fact that she now gets leashed if left alone in the car when there's ANY food-like substance therein.

If you called me, I'd recommend to wait and watch for vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, etc. With any symptoms, I'd suggest X-Rays.

Be on safe side. Go to Vet and get Xray.
Same happened to my small dog. I waited a day or two.
But was still worried.
Xray showed no bone, so it must have passed.
Cost me over me a little over 100 bucks, but was worth it.
