Thank you CA Poppy: "I'd keep out one of Petunia's sweaters (unwashed) and her collar and tags and put them in a ziploc bag for keepsakes."
We still have the paw print ceramic plus collar of Aka's .. like the idea of a Ziploc bag, and yes, have a special outfit of Petunia's, plus her collar (it is a John Deere cat collar with quick release), again thank you - will keep now as reminder. She is 10 as estimated by vet, and have had since March 2006. We have many memories of our travels and where we have walked thru campgrounds/trails with her, although never where knew wild animals apt to be also. She has been to California to New York to Toronto/Quebec, and all along the East Coast, Midwest, Colorado, thru the northern states and back to Washington with us. Many, many memories. Thank you for reminding me to remember the good times.
