Swimming Dogs
My wife and I are planning our first trip in our new fifth. Does anyone know of a nice campground that allows dogs to swim in a lake or pond anywhere in the NC or Virginia mountain area. Thank you

Near Marion, VA is Hungry Mother St Park. there are some sites on a creek where dogs can play. Also has a lake but not sure if dogs are permitted since it has a swimming beach. There is also Fairystone St Park further east. Has lake, not sure about dog access. Check Goose Point on Philpott Lake, COE campgrd. Not sure about dog access but maybe.
As said, definitely Four Paws in Rutherfordton. They cater to dogs!
