I raised two GSD puppies on my own; unfortunately, Max was so well-behaved (relatively speaking), he spoiled me. When Dash came, I was in for a shock. His first night, he tried to "escape" the laundry room by chewing through the insulation in the wall, and that was just the beginning. He literally tried to chew me out of house and home(the sofa, the siding, the deck, the pillows, etc, etc). How the both of survived until he was 2 years old I will never know, but it was all worth it. I hope Inga is more Max than Dash but, either way,she will grow into a loyal, devoted dog like no other. Good luck and see you all in Branson.
Make a bedroom for the dog at full size for the times when you won't be right there. I have a dog who is still chewing at 3.5 years. You could also buy a travel crate.
;) - emzeeExplorerwhat a cute pair!!! I am beginning to have, "a little puppy would be fun", feeling lol!! You do forget the training part, I am getting too set in my ways to be trained again. :)
- karmasashaExplorerWhat a Happy pair. Some years ago my sons 5 year old Rottweiler "adopted" my 7 week old puppy. She was "Mom" to him until he died at age three. She never was the same after that. She missed him so much.
- DustytuuExplorerThat puppy is soooooooo cute Walter! I am sure will be a great companion.
