- nabiExplorerVery sad..I wonder why the vet allowed this, knowing the dog was compromised ...bad decision all around...and now what, is the poor dog going to be continually shaved to show off the tat ???
- CA_POPPYExplorerI think the dog had her spleen removed because of an accident, note what seem to be multiple abrasions. And to make the poor animal hurt anymore than she has to is indefensible. We are here to take care of them, not mutilate them for our own amusement. Can't say what I really think...mods and all...

I wonder more about the judgment of the vet who allowed this while the dog was sedated. I don't get it, but then again I don't get human tats either.
You have just removed a major component of the dogs immune system, probably because of a tumor (if percentages hold) and you subject the dog to unneeded, unnecessary additional stress and potential infection, just plain stupid.

- magnusfideExplorer IIYou can't fix 'stupid'. Poor dog.
