That is disconnects from your WIFI for no apparent reason and can not be reconnected remotely.

I have used Sensaphone systems for over 10 years with no problems. I monitor my summer and winter homes. All that is required is a telephone connection and I am currently using the Verizon home connect for 5 plus years with no problems.

I have had problems described above with the Verison MIFI.

I have been using the temp stik for quite a while with no issues. Most of the time when folks have had problems with connection it was due to the mifi going to sleep. I went
into jetpak settings and set it up to never sleep, no problem with lost connection.

The MIFI I was using was set up not to sleep. But after 3 months the unit went off line. Verizon verified that will happen regardless of the settings.

I guess it must be in the technology or something since that happened to you. Ours is going on 3 or 4 years and we have never had that problem. When we are home I keep ours in the house monitoring just like I do when we had the motor home and now the fifth wheel. When the batteries get low I replace them. I keep it set on one hour when at home but have it monitoring every 15 mins when we travel. I can now understand your feelings towards it.
