My dogs have ZERO impact on a campground.
I disagree. Unless they never leave the unit and you give them only water you've provided from home there is an impact, however small. Even if you pick up after them if they've urinated it will kill grass/plants that may need to be replaced. If you use a provided exercise area there's the impact of dog feet plus maintenance on the area. If they bark (and if you aren't with them 7x24 you don't know for certain unless they can't bark) then the potential impact is someone leaving because of the noise. Zero impact? Nope. Minimal impact? Maybe.
I understand what you're saying - but I tend to keep my dogs on the road for walks; and we usually walk off-park for potty breaks if we can. Regarding them urinating on a tree - since I have observed male humans doing the same on more than one occasion (????!!) I assumed that's "proper RV Park etiquette" ;-) LOL!! But yes, they DO drink the water and breathe the air, so I guess I can't say ZERO.
Barking? Not mine. It's kind of hard to "leave your dogs behind" when you travel with a truck camper :-)
