2- leashed at all times
3-not left alone tied up on site
4-respect others, keep a wide berth if passing other dogs or owners that look nervouse
5-be an ambassador for your large breed, educate people...
None of these are really the cause for breed restrictions. It's the insurance companies, working off historical media reports of dog vs human violence... and they go back a long ways!
I've been refused homeowners insurance by certain companies due to owning an Alaskan Malamute, one of the most dangerous dogs in the USA according to the insurance institute. My current insurer does not have any breed based restrictions.
